Testing the Waters
This inaugural post is really a reprint of an email I sent to members today; however, as we move to make the best use of ChamberMaster, the platform through which we manage memberships and communicate, I'm considering our communciations in the following way:
- just-in-time information via social media platforms (SnapChat, Facebook, Instagram)
- frequently updated information in a blog post (soon to be linked to our website),
- summary/scheduled communication via email,
- press releases and member news via the News Page on our site.
All - I hope this email finds you safe and healthy. In the coming days, I'll be reaching out to each member individually via phone to check in and see if there's a way the chamber can support you during this disjointed time. (I've made 59 calls so far to businesses and individuals starting with A and B; moving on today to the C's.)
Blood Drive - March 25, 2020, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at the Summit County Fairgrounds, Virginia Ocasek Party Center. Scheduling in advance is highly encouraged. Social distancing measures are implemented at this, and all, Red Cross locations. Additional information is attached.
Community Partner Promotion
The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and Western Reserve Hospital would like to support our chamber partners and friends during this difficult time by featuring businesses on our social media platforms. We've recently begun the process of updating ChamberMaster, the platform we use to connect with all of you. The recent update includes many new features you can use to promote your business, many of them are free and some will include paid advertising features. I invite you to download the member facing app from the GooglePlay Store or iTunes/Apple Store and populate your member profile with new features: member rep photos, company logo, enhanced directions to your business, add a Member to Member Deal or coupon, add a Hot Deal (public/community deal or coupon), post a job, and so much more. There's also a community feed in the app to reach out to and connect with members - we may be physically distant but we don't have to be socially distant. More information about the app will be coming to you via email in the next several weeks and we're planning webinars to maximize the system for your business.
