STNA Classes

Have you ever wanted to become a STNA? Well the time is now. Altercare is offering STNA classes to applicants that want join our team.

Duties to be performed shall include but not be limited to the following:

? Provides all basic care services as required by the resident.

? Provides support in hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility and eating.

? Assists with new residents' adjustment to environment and routines.

? Maintains resident areas and work areas in a clean, safe and orderly manner.

? Treats residents with respect and full recognition of their individuality at all times.

? Understands and promotes standards to avoid spread of infection and contagious illnesses.

? Performs other duties relating to resident care when assigned within limits of his/her training.

? Participates in marketing program, Customer Service Protocols and Drug Free Workplace Program.

? Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.

? Involved in CQI-attends committee meetings.
